Pacific Antique Clocks is the website of Dennis Radage. This website was formed out of a passion for antique clocks, a previous career in precision measuring instruments and a love for general antiques.

I have been a collector for more than forty years, over which time I have built an extensive knowledge of antique clocks, a horological library of over 700 books and a thorough understanding of horological history, sympathetic restoration and in the functioning of antique clocks in the manner as intended by the original maker.

My interests include horological history, research, lecturing, authoring articles and in the restoration of certain clocks. I am the lead author of a 660 page book on clock and watchmaking during the Golden Age of English horology.

I am a Silver Star Fellow of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, *FNAWCC (USA), a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers (UK), an Associate of the Antiquarian Horological Society AHS (UK), and an Associate of the British Horological Institute BHI (UK). I am the current President of the BC chapter of the NAWCC and have also acted as  Secretary, Treasurer, Program Chairman, and  Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the chapter. I am a Chartered Engineer C.Eng., MIET, and a Senior Member of the International Society of Automation, M. ISA (USA). I am also an accredited personal property appraiser, CPPA (CA). My 40 year professional career in precision measuring instruments taught me the appropriate skills to fully understand and appreciate fine antique clocks and watches.
