| This is a well made mahogany break arch cased clock with fluted quarter columns to the sides, partially brass filled and with pineapple finials to the front and an ogee plinth raised on four wooden bun feet. The clock has a hinged glazed brass bezel to the front and a rear door with red fabric lined brass fretwork
The six inch silvered arched dial has an applied silvered chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, Arabic minute numbers, Maltese cross half hour markers and blued steel fleur de lis hands.
There are two subsidiary dials for chime/silent, and, fast/slow regulation control
This clock has a substantial good quality spring driven brass eight day time and strike movement with anchor escapement, rack striking and strikes the hour and quarters on two rear mounted flat blued steel and coiled gongs
