An attractive Moore Bros. glazed porcelain clock with the mark Moore 669 D. A girl and a boy are on either side of the clock, the girl with cymbals and the boy with violin. The clock is decorated with flowering cacti and leaves. All on a decorative gilt base.
The gilt dial, 2 ¾” diameter, with upright Arabic numbers and pierced central decoration. The hands are of blued steel.
Circular plated eight day brass timepiece. Platform escapement. Rear plate stamped E.G.L. Winds from the rear.
Clock stands 10” high and is 13” wide. |
