A decorative Rococo style mantle clock. The case of tapered waist form with marquetry inlay to the front and sides with brass leaf scroll decoration. Convex glass to the bezel. Rear door access to the movement.
The white enamel dial, 4” diameter, with Roman chapters with Arabic minutes at each 5 minute marker. The hands are of blued steel.
Circular plated eight day brass movement with twin barrels for time and strike, striking on a gong. Platform escapement. Rear plate stamped with the number 11830 52.
